ABOUT
THERE WAS A BOY is a solo theatre show.

It is also a magic show. Its for young teens and adults.

Both innocent and provocative, full of heart and camp humour, it hopes to

explore our relationships to queerness, magic and the ways in which as human beings we manipulate ourselves to try and fit in with societal norms.

Supported initially by a DYCP grant from ACE David wanted to explore the fusion of a theatre show mixed with magic. A show that focuses on family, nature Vs nurture, learnt behaviours and the advice adults give to us when we are young.
